just the nude nail polish

My girlfriends know how much I love nail polishes. I got almost every shade of colors, name it! I love doing my nails, taking care of them and do manicure to everyone, and if there is something I can't live without is a manicure set and of course nail polishes!
Until one time the Lord spoke so clearly... He broke my heart when He started to say that I had to use form that time on just the nude nail polish. My first thougth went to the other poor nail polishes that I would not use anymore: how about them? Will I have to give them up? That was tragedy!! 
Papà explained Himself saying He does not like me seeing standing on the stage with colors on my nails. I've never understood Him and He knows that. But inspite of my love for nail polishes, I gave in what He was telling me to do.
Now, it's almost a year I'm not having colored nails. Sometimes, when my girl friends sleep over at my place and we begin to nail polish, I always look at them with an envious eye. Until now I'm tempted to compromise, trying to make some excuses just to do what I want to do. But there is always a voice saying that I can't disapoint Him in this very little thing. That's why I always end up picking the nude one.
Behind my nail polish thingy there is a big story to learn. Maybe a vital lesson. You know, the Lord is interested in every aspect of our lives. He wants to be part of us. From the silliest desicion you have to make to the biggest desicion that will make your life. When He says that He cares for us, He means that He cares about the colors of your nails as much as He cares for your toughest problem. He simply cares. And He simply wants to be involved in every desicion we take. His opinion is important.
His opinion matters more than what we want. His concerns in our lives have the highest priority. Following faithfully His every instruction  must be our life style.

This is the story behind my nails, it's silly and most of the time non-sense, but believe me, because He trained me with this, giving up on what I want it's not a big deal anymore. It still hurts sometimes, but I joyfully give up what He asks. Now you know why I always wear nude nail polish: it's me reminding myself that He cares! :)
